We came to Dawn when our rambunctious yellow lab puppy was giving us a run for the money! Dawn is a puppy whisperer. The minute she walked through our door, our pup responded to her presence and commands. Dawn explained her program in detail and the options available to us. She was flexible with our schedule as well as the needs of the dog and our family. Dawn worked with us both in the home, and out in the community. Our walks in Plymouth Harbor were especially helpful as his behavior during walks was becoming challenging. Dawn helped train us humans on what signals we were unknowingly giving our pup, and how to correct those. Although he is a still young dog and a work in progress, Dawn equipped us with the tools and strategies we need as pet owners to continue to strengthen his obedience skills. Thank you, Dawn!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dawn and her training. She is patient, small but mighty, and does an amazing job working with all animals. She worked with my Goldendoodles Charlie and Teddy. Charlie is 5 and had minimal training prior to Dawn working with him. Charlie knows his commands, his leash aggression has improved significantly, and most importantly, Dawn taught me the skills to be in control of my animals. Her prices too are extremely reasonable and very well worth it

We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Dawn! She is incredibly thorough, reliable, and detail-oriented, and her training process is truly top-notch. Dawn came to our home and made sure the entire family was involved, which made such a difference. She worked wonderfully with our two young children, taking the time to explain not just what to do, but why each action mattered for our dog’s behavior and confidence.

Dawn is the absolute best! From the very first session, it was clear how knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate she is. Ralph not only learned new skills but also gained so much confidence along the way. Dawn takes the time to explain training methods in a way that makes sense, and she truly set Ralph and I up for success. The progress we’ve seen has been incredible, and I feel so much more confident as a dog owner.

I own a beautiful 2 year old Golden retriever named Zoey. She is very active, stubborn, hypervigilant, barking, and over time became the boss and would not listen. She was aggressive with my husband, and I and resource guarded. It was like all the training that we had done with her as a puppy had been unlearned. We were devastated and worried that we would have to rehome her. I contacted Dawn and with her guidance, hands on training to show us what we needed to do , written instructions for practice and encouragement we now have a very well behaved, loving girl. It takes a lot of time to undo bad habits but her training worked!!! I cannot thank Dawn enough for showing us how to train our girl and manage her home life! We are now a happy family and Zoey is calm, more loving, more quiet, and happy!

We are so happy that we had Dawn helping with our new rescue, Fischer! He is a year old and loved seeing Dawn show up! He was always so excited to see her. Because he was a rescue we needed to work on his leash training, basic commands like sit and stay, etc. She showed us how to get him to focus only on us when we spoke to him. He has come such a long way! He will now sit and wait to be fed, leave the cat alone(he is still working on that one!) and walk calmly. I highly recommend Dawn and we will be working with her again to learn a few more commands.

I cannot recommend Dawn and Canine Etiquette enough! She is incredibly kind, easy to work with, flexible with scheduling, and truly amazing with animals.

We had a disappointing experience with another trainer who advertised “positive reinforcement” but then used a choke collar on our 6-month-old Cava-poo. Thankfully, we found Dawn. We reached out to her for help with basic obedience and resource guarding, and she provided us with thoughtful guidance, helpful tools, and expert feedback that made a real difference.

Dawn was always patient, understanding and flexible with our busy schedules. Our dog Walter absolutely loves her and felt comfortable with her right away. She brings a wealth of knowledge to each session and is always open to collaborating and hearing your ideas.

It’s important to know this isn’t a drop-off training program (that’s how we ended up in the choke collar situation previously)—you need to be consistent and follow through with the techniques she teaches. But with Dawn’s support, resources, and willingness to answer questions anytime, you’re set up for success. We’re so grateful to have found her!

We could not be more grateful for Dawn! We contacted her for help with our 3 year old German shepherd mix, who is such a love, but we were working through some overprotectiveness with people coming to our home and reactivity towards other dogs on walks.

My husband and I felt like the training was really for us, because our dog is so bright and willing to please! After just a couple of sessions, we were so impressed with our dogs response on walks. Dawn helped give us the tools to manage and correct our dog’s behaviors and we feels so much more confident working through challenges now. Our dog also loved Dawn!! She is so kind and
