So I have wanted a dog for years and finally got the opportunity a few months ago. I would have gotten one sooner but I have a special needs daughter who is afraid of dogs. But in a very kind gesture, my daughter gave me “permission” to get a dog for my birthday.

I bought a Great Dane puppy. When I do something, I do it BIG! Needless to say, you can’t have a large breed dog and NOT train it. Especially when a member of the family is afraid of dogs.
After a month of research I decided to hire Dawn and Canine Etiquette. All my research paid off. Dawn is knowledgeable, kind (but firm) with my dog and flexible with my work schedule. I’ll be honest, she’s not the cheapest, (I’m always wary of the cheapest anything!) but the results were phenomenal! My daughter isn’t totally cool with Mocha (my dog’s name) yet because Mocha is kind of intimidating, but she tolerates her and the two will just get closer over time.
